Joey Chalk Fine Carpentry & Woodworks are specialists in handcrafted fine furniture and commissioned pieces for your home. We also take pride in restoring pieces you already have and drawing up designs from your images or imagination. We’re also plywood kitchen and bathroom specialists. We use plywood for all structural work, fixtures and finishes while occasionally use MDF board for painted doors, drawer fronts that are as functional as they are beautiful.

01 Consultation
Get in touch with Joey or drop into the workshop for an initial consultation. Bring your own brief or sketches or even just a photo accompanied by the statement “like that but different.”
02 Design & Build
Together we’ll compile the initial design and Joey may make a site visit to measure up. A quote can then be provided and drawings revised and signed off in preparation for a scheduled build start. This begins once the deposit invoice is received.
We then source and select the best pieces of timber for your job. In some instances, we store certain timbers for a period of time before beginning work, in order that the timber is in prime condition. We will keep you updated with progress reports during the build phase.
03 Delivery & Installation
All our solid timber furniture comes with a lifetime guarantee. As soon as the last finishing coat is dry, your furniture is carefully prepared for delivery and installation.
Wrapped and shipped by us to site or couriered nationwide at buyers expense. Your final invoice is given after delivery and your satisfaction.
